Jacka: Chapter 38

As Bloodly pulls me aside, I have no knowledge on what the question might even be. I didn't know it would be something like …
"When you woke up," she begins "and you ran to the door, I understand why you said mum and dad, but why did you say the name Anna?"
"Ah," I try to begin. "She was my big sister, from back home. She … ah, usually lived in the house."
"Anna?" she repeats. "Anna Smith?"
"Why do you keep saying her name?" I ask. "It's getting annoying."
Bloodly ushers out a faithful smile, then walks towards Ledge, now pulling him aside.
"Do you know someone called David Gem?" she asks, looking at him almost like she's looking into his soul. It looks really creepy …
"David?" he now repeats. "I think he was my cousin? Or something. Wait, how did you …"
"Know?" she completes. "Lucky guess."
Bloodly goes to Bruno next, asking about Speranza. She also goes to Army, and asks about Rita.
"I know she's alive!" she yells. "Can I see her?"
Bloodly 'tsk –tsked' Army. "Can you wait a little bit mo-"
"Don't you dare say 'more'. I have been waiting for twelve years. I just want to see my little sister."
"You will!" she says. We are heading there right now!"
Army looks down at the ground. "Can we get there a bit faster?"
"We are experiments with basically super powers," begins Bloodly. "I think we can make our trip faster."

It didn't take long for every one to use there powers to travel. Army was right up at the front with Bloodly, using her rocks as hovercrafts. Everyone was using there powers, and it made me kinda feel powerful. I mean, I'm using electric bolts to fly, that's pretty awesome!

Using our powers got us at the training area in no time. Man, if only I knew about my ability sooner. That would have been way better that taking the school bus!
Anyway, the training area is an entire open field. It does have a roof of glass, with about 25, very thick poles as support. The entire perimeter of the area has different signs, with a letter following a number. The first is A 1, and last is Z 12. And underneath each sign, lays a weapon on a table. In the middle it looks like there is a pole holding up the centre of the roof. There instead of 1 letter, 1 number … it says PH. Powerful Human? But instead of one weapon, there are about 10, or 20. But none of them look like the ones that everyone else has. I look back at the A's, and realize that they have the exact kind of weapons that Y have, and in the same order.
As us Y's stand back from a bunch of other kids fighting and training and … stuff, Bloodly pulls aside a girl, looking about Hannah's age. The girl has hazel eyes, and light blonde hair.
"I need there attention," she says to the girl.
Bloodly's right; it is so noisy.
"No problem," replies the girl.
She opens her mouth, and lets out a deafening screech. I see everyone cover there ears and looks at the girl. The noise is unbearable! I fall to the ground, still holding my ears. Why am I the only one? Hold up, a few other kids are also falling on the ground.
The girl finally stops yelling. Then she says something, but I can't hear anything with the ringing in my ears.
The several kids that fell down are now being helped back up by others around them. Jacob and Ledge help me back up, and once Bloodly saw me, she rushed over.
She is mouthing words, but the sound slowly comes to me.
"Sorry," I heard her fainty say. "The sound waves affect all 12's."
I can hear perfectly now. Everyone is quite, and staring no longer at the girl, but now at us. Y. Bloodly walks to Army, and says;
"I need you to make me a big stage or something out of rocks."
Army nods and signals her to walk back a bit. The ground underneath Bloodly moves, and she yeah … has a rock stage. She looks over all the kids, and then begins to talk.
"A new group has arrived!" she yells. "And it's Y!"
The audience cheers. I see electrical blots, rocks, fire, and lasers shoot up into the sky.
"We have always hoped that this day will come! Now, will Y 2, Y 4, Y 5, Y 7, Y 9, Y 11 and Y 12 please come on up!"
We go up, as we follow the order. Bruno goes first, then Ledge, Army and then me. Once we get up there, Bloodly asks about Y 4, Dream and 5, Marstin.
"They wasn't in their rooms," answers Army. "I think they were with the others."
"Oh …" Bloodly looks around the crowed. "Could Yaroslava Jena please make you way to the hospital? Your sister is waiting for you."
A girl looking about Princess's age rushes out of the crowed.
"Wait, Yaroslava!" she says. "Her name is Maria Jena, but she likes to be called Dream."
"You got it!" the little girl replies back.
"Also could Jay Ashy also make your way there as well? Ask for Martin Ashy, aka Marstin."
All of a sudden, a boy runs out at the speed of Thunder. Not actual thunder, I mean no.6, Thunder.
"What about Y 9, Princess?" asks Bruno.
Bloodly whispers, something, I couldn't hear.
I get what Bloodly is doing, it's a family meeting! What family member do I get to meet? Probably my sister. I can't wait to see Anna. I wonder what her nickname is. I think that-
"Alright, Y 2," says Bloodly. Bruno moves closer to her. "I ask of Speranza Ano to please come up and meet you little brother!"
Then up comes a girl that has different eyes, and tanner skin than Bruno, but looks a lot like him. Speranza shoots herself up with laser beams coming from her eyes, like Chargar.
"Speranza?" he asks.
"Yeah …" she replies. They both hug. It's really adorable.
Bloodly nods at Speranza, and the too siblings walk away most likely to talk. Bruno came to the base when he was eight, and now he's nineteen. He's been so long with out his sister.
"It is now Y 7's turn," yells Bloodly. "Ledge?"
Just as he walks up, a boy about 15 jumps out of the crowed and flies over towards Ledge, yelling his real name, Leonard. The boy grabs Ledge and takes him off the stage, and I think accidentally dropped on the ground.
"David?" Ledge asks.
The two of them play-wrestle on the ground a bit.
Bloodly continues. "Y 11, you can finally see your sister. Rita Steven or Fang please come up to the stage, and meet your big sister, Juliet Steven, or Army."
A girl looking about also fifteen walks up from the front of the crowd and slowly walks up to the stage. Rita then walks up to Army, and gives her a hug. No words, but only tears come out of the two. They both silently cry for a few moments, maybe a few too many.
"Hey!" yells a kid in the crowed. "I want to get back to training!"
Rita slowly turns around, and in a dark voice yells; "Well I don't give a fuck!"
When she had turned, I saw that she really had fangs! Well that's where she got her name from. Her nails became slightly pointy, her skin became paler, and her eyes went red.
"What's your power?" asks Army, wiping away the tears.
"I'm a genetically created vampire," she answers. Well that's not surprising. "And you?"
"I control earth, with my mind."
"Neat."
The two also walk off the stage, and away from the training area. It's my turn now. As Bloodly calls my name, I walk next to her. I haven't seen any of my family yet, but I already have tears in my eyes.
"Can Anna Smith, or Midnight," begins Bloodly "please make her way to the stage? Jackson Smith, now Jacka, has been waiting for you."
No one moves. I scan the kids, and don't see my sister. Where is she?
"She's never here," I say to Bloodly. "She was never around at home and now-"
"Jackson!" I hear my sister yell. I turn around, and see her running with all the other Y is the hospital. That includes Dream's sister, Marstin's brother and my sister!
"Anna!" I yell, jumping of the stage and running to my sister.
"Jackson!" she yells back.
We hug.
"Midnight?" I ask.
"Jacka?" she replies.
"That's me now."
"Same here."
Bloodly gives us a big smile, and then turns back. "And lastly, can Y 9 please come up to the stage?"
"Me?" asks Princess. She walks up, and stands by Bloodly's side. She continues.
"We have no family members to reunite this little girl with, but we honour her family."
"Mine?" questions Princess.
Bloodly ignores Princess, and says; "Princess is Ella Love. She, and her twin sister, was born in Greece with English parents. The day when the government went to take Princess and her sister away, the parents new something was up. They fought hard to keep the kids, but that ended up costing them there lives. And then Princess and her twin were taken to the Cotidie Versipellis. The government was already there, waiting. As soon as the twins arrived, the government took Princess's twin, but could reach Princess. Her twin was taken to the base, she found out there was more of us, and was brought here. On the first day of the battle between the government and us, the twin lost her life defending my little brother and many others. We know that twin as the Abigail Love, then known as Gail. Now that her sister is here we rejoice the bravery and sacrifice of Gail. Thank you all, you may now go back to training."
Nobody moved form where they were standing. It was silence until someone started clapping, then everyone joined in. They were canting "Love! Love!". I guess Gail was some kind of hero. Princess doesn't like the cheering. She backs of the stage and runs away. Army runs after her, with Fang following. Then my sister looks at me again and gives me another hug.
"I can't believe it's you," says Midnight.
"Me neither."
